I will write this item was as advertised. I ignorantly assumed the wood would be lacquered, hwever, it was not. I ended up putting lacquer on the box after there was a piece of wood that splintered in the corner after receiving. There was also a slat askew in the smaller right compartment, and for the price that was paid I assumed these small things would be checked prior to shipping. I would have returned , however, this item was personalized And I did not notice the crooked Slat until I had already begun to lacquer the box.
